𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Pinterest is a great way to start any project. Create specific boards for certain rooms, design features and even favourites, like lighting and hardware. Once you have your
inspiration boards compiled, examine them closely for common threads to pull out of the images that feel like the most consistent representation of your vision and aesthetic.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻
You need a good floor plan as your guide. This way, you’ll be focused on pieces that are the correct scale for your space. Anything that does not meet the space criteria will not work.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸
There’s no denying that designing and renovating a home is an expensive process, and many people can freeze up when confronted with a big-ticket purchase, inevitably derailing their whole project. Designer Danielle Dominques of Collins & Co. Interiors suggests reframing how you look at your spend. “There’s a lot of hesitation when it comes to investment pieces, like a high-quality sofa or a custom rug,” she adds. “These purchases feel high-stakes, and understandably so, but I encourage clients to see the value in selecting statement pieces that will last a lifetime.”

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝘁
Once you decide, unless something is really off, stick to your original choice. Oftentimes, all roads lead back to the first choice. Feel confident and trust your gut—only you can know what you love or don’t love.

𝗧𝗮𝗽 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼
Sometimes, your design decision paralysis isn’t just about a lack of confidence; it’s about a tricky design challenge (like a triangle-shaped room). In that instance (and so many more), it may be time to tap a pro to help deliver a stunning, personalised space.

Or maybe it's time to just give it a lick of paint and let us help you find your dream home!
