GARDAG is a voluntary non-profit organisation founded by Ken Gie with a focus on monitoring water quality of our natural resources within the George region, south of the Outeniqua mountains in the Western Cape, South Africa

Our Mission

Canvass local government to improve governance & protect the dam from over-development.
Raise awareness regarding waste and the resale value of plastic waste.
Encourage businesses & the private sector to engage in initiatives concerning ecosystem restoration, responsible development and the importance of preserving our dwindling water resources.
Educate school children & local communities & raise awareness regarding water scarcity. Projects dedicated to the removal of invasive alien plants.
